There are a few different ways to become an alumnae.
1. Graduating
Upon graduation from college, a collegiate member of Alpha Phi (in Good Standing) will be considered an alumnae member. It is important to go online and pay your alumnae dues to remain in good standing. There are many payment options that make it easy to show your outward commitment to Alpha Phi!
2. Transferring (to a school that does not have an Alpha Phi chapter)
If you are transferring to a school that does not have an Alpha Phi chapter, it is important to fill out a Transferring Form as soon as possible. This form can be found in the Alumnae Files section of the website. Once you fill it out, mail it to the Alpha Phi International Office at 1930 Sherman Avenue, Evanston, IL 60201. Once the paperwork goes through, you will then be able to go online and pay your alumnae dues to remain in good standing.
3. Marriage
If you get married during your time at SUU as a collegiate member of Alpha Phi, you can choose to be classified as an alumnae. You or the VPCO will need to contact the International Office for more details, and then go online and pay alumnae dues to remain in good standing.
4. 5th Year Senior
If you have been in school for more than 4 collegiate years, you are able to be classified as an alumnae. You or the VPCO will need to contact the International Office for more details, and then go online and pay alumnae dues to remain in good standing.
5. Alumnae Initiation
This is a special ceremony held to initiate non-collegiate women, especially mothers, that we feel best portray Alpha Phi and its ideals. Contact our President, Raquel Roldan, at raquel@roldaninc.com or 702-334-3875 to recommend a new alumnae member or for details about an upcoming Alumnae Initiation ceremony.
Please visit the Alpha Phi International Alumnae Website for more info.
